You can give to ensure emergency transportation to the safety of Women’s Place – Elgin’s Emergency Shelter – from anywhere in St. Thomas and Elgin County – is available 24 hours a day.  This is no small moment – it is the life changing opportunity that a 24 hour professionally staffed safe haven offers women and children whose lives are displaced, distraught , and in crisis.  There they find safety, support, and the opportunity to cultivate hope in the face of much harm.
