Elgin Alliance to End Violence

The Elgin Alliance to End Violence presented a conference featuring Dr. Leeno Karumanchery as the keynote speaker on June 14, 2012 at the Stoneridge Inn.  Over 125 registered attendees were challenged to “think outside the box”.

“Today, there is no question that diversity training is of vital importance to organizations.  With increased diversity and skills, staff can interact with colleagues and clients in the manner that is productive and mutually beneficial.  The key objective of diversity training is to increase participant self-awareness about the reality of diversity, equity and oppression relative to their personal biases, fears, and experiences.”
